With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, we work on every aspect of the Real Estate process to guarantee an efficient and comprehensive legal representation to cover the needs of owners, developers, investors and other players of the sector.

SANDIN ABOGADOS is led by its founding partner, Susana Sandin. Susana has sound experience in Real Estate in which she has been working as in-house counsel the most of his career. She has occupied legal management positions at Developers and Funds with activity in Spain and abroad.

She is specialised in residential, office and hospitality sectors. Her areas of expertise are acquisitions, developments and asset management, with a particular expertise in Real Estate Taxation.

Her clients appreciate her sound knowledge of the sector and its legislation and her extensive expertise, which come through when matters need to be concluded. They value her deep her rigour and honesty.

Due to her passion for Law, she is an active member in different Real Estate forums, being her reports and articles followed by a large number of lawyers and real estate companies.

Career and Training

Susana’s career started after going through a candidacy process related to Property Register. From the beginning of her career her clients have been real estate companies and property owners.

In 2007, Susana worked as Head of Legal Department at Inmobiliaria de Construcciones y Arriendos, S.A., developer with domestic and international business, which belonged to GRUPO CORINPA, S.L., being responsible for the legal matters of the company and providing legal advice on development and execution of company’s development projects.

In 2014, Susana worked as a Legal Counsel in the Expansion Division at HOTUSA Group, participating in hotel purchase and management operations worldwide.

In 2017, Susana continued her career in Investment Funds by joining as the Legal Department Director of the foreign real estate fund NORVET NEGOTIAL, S.L. She participates in the company’s Management Committee, advises on the strategy and implementation of the company’s projects in Spain, and is responsible for the company’s expansion into Portugal.

Susana got her Degree in Law (1998) at Universitat Autònoma de Bellaterra.

Since 2004 she is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association after finishing her post-degree studies in Property Registration Law.

Susana is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 2004.

Since 2009, Susana is a member of the Company Lawyers Committee at Barcelona Bar Association.

In 2011-2012, Susana got her Executive MBA after completing successfully her studies at Fudan University School of Management in Shanghai (China).

Susana speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
